Hey, I'm Brooke.

Nice to meet ya. I'm glad you're here!

I am an experienced, multidisciplinary graphic designer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. I graduated from the University of Missouri with my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design & Fibers.

I started designing my sophomore year of high school and have been at it ever since. I have over 6 years of professional job experience and have worked with clients of all shapes and sizes in industries including automotive, security, retail, and restaurant.

I am a Missouri girl born and raised. My first job was working at my family's meat shop. Working for a small business early on helped shape my work ethic and mindset. I'm a doer and a hustler and always dive into every project with an open mind and positive attitude.

When I'm not designing, I'm either at a concert, at the lake with my family, or crocheting up something new. I'm known for my love of Heinz Ketchup, Diet Coke, and Ford Mustangs.

so what's up with this "free-range chicken" name?

Well, that's basically the nickname I gave myself when I started freelancing full-time.

Picture this: suddenly, I had the freedom to work from anywhere, anytime – cue the "I'm a free-range chicken now!" moment.

Funny how it also sums up my design style – no rules, just creative freedom. I like to break out of the traditional design box and let my ideas wander to capture the vibe you want for your brand or project. At Free-Range Chicken, it's not just a name; it's a laid-back approach to making designs that stand out.
